By installing or using Travel Day you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old (or older where your country requires an older age to agree to this kind of service), and able to enter into a binding agreement. You are responsible for using the app lawfully.
Travel Day helps you organise trips: bookings, documents, flight tracking, reminders, local guides, planning ideas and related tools. Much of it works offline and on your phone. Some features need an account and an internet connection. We may add, change or remove features, and some may not be available in every country or on every device.
Entry requirements, visa and health information, passport-validity rules, weather, exchange rates, tipping and local guides, plug types and emergency numbers are provided as general information. They can be out of date, incomplete or wrong, and rules change often. Always confirm with official sources and your airline or provider before you travel. You are responsible for having valid travel documents, visas, insurance and vaccinations, and for arriving on time. Nothing in the app is legal, medical, financial, immigration or safety advice.
Flight status, gates, delays and baggage belts come from third parties and can be late, estimated or wrong. Alerts, countdowns, widgets, Live Activities and “time to leave” suggestions are aids, not guarantees: they may arrive late, not arrive, or be switched off by your phone’s settings (such as Focus modes, battery saver or notification permissions). Connection-risk and security-wait figures are estimates. Do not rely on Travel Day alone to catch a flight. Check your airline’s own information and airport screens.
The passenger-rights summaries and message templates (for delays, cancellations and special assistance) are general guides based on common rules in some regions. They are not legal advice, may not apply to your flight, and do not create any claim. Follow the links to the official source and make your own claim with the airline or authority.
Ideas drafted by AI can be inaccurate, closed, unavailable or unsuitable. Check opening hours, prices, safety and access yourself. Nothing is added to your trip unless you choose to add it. See the privacy policy for what is sent.
Your trips and documents are yours. You are responsible for your passcode and for keeping your phone secure. If you forget your passcode and have no biometric unlock set up, encrypted data cannot be recovered, and we cannot help. Make a backup (Profile → Backup and restore) and keep the file safe. Do not store anything you are not allowed to keep.
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. A shared flight link shows one flight to anyone who has the link until it ends, so share it only with people you trust. The same is true of a shared trip link: anyone who has the whole link can read the trip, until you stop sharing or it ends 14 days after the trip. You are responsible for who you send it to, and for sharing details about other people (such as travel companions) only if they are happy for you to. Security-wait reports you send are shown to other travellers without your name; send them honestly. You may delete your account at any time in the app; we may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.
Do not: break the law; try to get into other people’s accounts or data; probe, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service or its servers; send false or abusive reports; use the app to harass others; or use it to copy our content for a competing product. Automated use of our flight look-ups is not allowed.
The app uses and links to services we do not control: flight data, maps, weather, exchange rates, Apple, Google and Microsoft sign-in, hotels, lounges, tours, insurance, government websites and others. They have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them or for what you buy from them. Some links are affiliate links that may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you; they are labelled. Read cancellation terms and cover details before you buy anything.
We and our licensors own the app, its design, illustrations, animations and text. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on your own devices. Airline and aircraft names appear only to identify them; they belong to their owners and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence. Place descriptions and photos from Wikipedia and Wikimedia are used under their open licences.
If you got Travel Day from the Apple App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance. If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, who will refund the purchase price if there was one, and Apple has no other warranty obligation. We, not Apple, are responsible for claims about the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance and intellectual property claims. You confirm you are not in a country under a US embargo or on a US prohibited-parties list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Use of the app is also subject to Apple’s Media Services Terms and Usage Rules.
You can stop using Travel Day at any time and delete your data in the app. We may stop providing the service or part of it, and will give reasonable notice where we can. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as 4, 5, 15 and 16) do.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error free, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or opportunity, or for a missed flight, refused entry, denied boarding, extra cost or any trip disruption arising from information, alerts or tools in the app. Our total liability to you for anything connected with the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the last 12 months or 50 euros (or the equivalent). Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in your local courts.
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Using the app after that means you accept the new terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
